About the role :
The incumbent (‘Manager / Sr. Manager – Legal’) will be responsible for building and managing the Audit function from creating the policies and setting up the standard operating procedure (SOP) for Management Audit with direct focus on Process, People, Technology and Systems to ensure smooth functioning and management of day-to-day operations. He/She will be required to audit the above on a regular basis from a management perspective to identify gaps resulting in efficiency/ revenue loss for the company.
Job Description :
- Responsible for analyzing, reviewing standard / non-standard contract and agreement terms between the company and it’s employees, vendors, etc. – Drafting of Legal notices/ reply and handle cases filed against the company. – Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in India for manufacturing sector / industry.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise management on their impact on the company by researching, analyzing and mitigating risk for a proposed plan or strategy, which needs to materialized for the growth of the organization.
- Maintaining records and documentation as per compliance and legal requirements, ensure the data readiness for any due diligence.
- Manage litigation and disputes, including representation in court and before regulatory authorities.
- Manage and oversee the work of external legal counsel.
- Implementation of circulars/Guidelines/Regulations as per manufacturing industry guidelines and timely submission of comments on exposure drafts.
- Time-bound & adhoc /information/reply submission. – Framing and review of organizational level policies.
- Liaising with Internal & external stakeholders.
- Fulfilling legal compliance requirements from statutory & company perspective.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- LLB with 5 -7 years of work-experience in the ‘Legal’ team of a manufacturing organization with multi-plants and have experience in working in a team.
- Good understanding of the regulatory and legal environment, including Labour, Taxation, EHS, secretarial, Industry-specific, and other laws.
- Hands-on Experience in Legal audits and operations for large and mid-size manufacturing companies.
- Should be updated with the latest regulatory changes in the Indian regulatory environment.
- Attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹800,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per year
