Working to a set of precise specifications, they operate tools and machines to grind, mill and shape raw materials into the specified form, then assemble the final product.Mechanical fittersfit and assemble metal parts to fabricate production machines and other equipment. They use a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards.
