Role Accountabilities (Key Tasks)

The Contract Support Officer will be expected to have a hands-on approach to providing Contract Administration Support which includes but is not limited to the following activities:

  1. Assist with Ariba contract variations, rise and fall mechanisms and contract milestones as directed by the Category Lead
  2. Maintain contract information by creating and updating Ariba Contract Workspace items on behalf of the Category Lead e.g., price, part numbers, add or remove items
  3. Create new contract (Draft) numbers for site and corporate
  4. Publish signed contracts in accordance with guidelines
  5. Proactive approach to communicate and resolve contract issues with Category Lead/Contract Owner
  6. Central point of contact to field contract change requests from the business
  7. Coordinate IT tickets for escalated issues
  8. Support Procurement Excellence to identify opportunities for improvement
  9. Assist with audit, governance, and compliance reporting as required
  10. Help monitor performance to track uplift in procurement capability
  11. Effective communication and influence of stakeholders at all levels
  12. Contributing to a high-performance culture by managing, developing and collaborating within the Group and Asset Procurement teams, across assets and other key stakeholders


Requirements

Qualifications (essential and desirable):

Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in Supply Chain, Business or Commerce

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

Technical Capabilities

  • Demonstrated experience in providing Ariba Contract support

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in the execution of work tasks
  • Highly developed capabilities in time management and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage and execute work to structured timeframes

Required Knowledge and Experience (essential and desirable):

  • Three to five years of procurement and supply chain management experience, with progressive responsibilities throughout your career
  • Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and associated software (SAP and Ariba)
  • Comprehensive understanding of contract life cycle and contract management
