We are looking for Indian Accounting Expert having specialisation into Indian Payroll, Accounting and Taxation

This is work from office role.

Payroll Management:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian labour laws and regulations.
Handle payroll calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory compliances.
Resolve employee queries related to payroll in a timely manner.

GST and Taxation:
Manage GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliation, and ensuring adherence to GST laws and regulations.
Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant tax codes.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the company on the implications and opportunities.

Indian Accounting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including TDS, PF, ESI, and other labor laws.
Generate and submit reports to relevant authorities on time.

Vendor Management:
Liaise with vendors, ensuring timely payments and compliance with TDS provisions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Operations, to ensure seamless payroll and accounting processes.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.


Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as CA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian payroll, GST, taxation, and accounting practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements.
