1) Job Purpose
Complete control on Account Receivables which includes realization of receivables in time considering the loss of interest of late realization and also to provide maximum support to customers up to their satisfaction through marketing which leads our market holding strong. Completion of Auditing as per schedule.

Supporting Actions
Recording of Metal related accounting (For own stock) in East Zone (Kolkata Godown)
Recording of Inward & Outward transactions for metal received from HIL Units as per Accounting Standards & statutory compliances.
Preparation of Metal Situation Report (ALSIT) as per accounting guidelines & SOP of CFD. Recording of Sales Return (from customers) transactions for Kolkata Godown & Stock transferred returned to mother / nearby plant as per guidelines / sop with all statutory compliances.
Recording of Metal related accounting (For Trade Activities) in East Zone (Kolkata Godown)
Recording of inward material from Trading Partners, ensuring uploading of trade material in stock, processing of bills in books for trade material & applicable inward freight. Account Settlement of trade partner account & inward freight bills. Accounting of Trade material movement in books as per SOP / CFD Guidelines.
Account Reconciliation & Balance confirmation.
Customer account reconciliation as per requirement from marketing side or if there is difference while balance confirmation. Reconciliation of customer accounts periodically as per CFD / HOD instructions. Ensure timely refund to customers post all due verifications.
Insurance Claims
Information to Insurance partners/companies for damage reporting. Coordination with Insurance partners, surveyors & godown operation team (for survey of damaged material reported), with logistic team & Marketing team for sending material to plant & final inspection thereon as per SOP. Claims submission with Insurance partners / companies & their follow up till getting insurance claim.
Application of open debtors with Credit Notes & open receipts
Review of open AR transactions (Invoices, DNs, CNs, Receipts) on daily basis & follow up for their application with respective Marketing team / BFM & application of the same thereon. Follow up for recovery of OD Outstanding with TM/RM/BFM & reporting to CFD.
Statutory Compliances
To ensure statutory compliances on inward metal (Own & Trade both), Outward metal, GST TDS, TDS 194A with close coordination with Marketing Team, Mother Plant & CFD. Checking applicability of GST / TDS (as applicable) on Rental Income Transactions.
Various MIS
Preparation of various monthly / Qtrly MIS:
Daily MIS for Expected collection vs Actual Collection (follow up with Marketing team in case of variation), Godown MIS, Related Party Disclosure, Notes to Accounts, ALSIT, Stock Aging Report, Variance analysis on Stock Movement. BDD Provision, A&GE of Carbon & CPD Business, Debtors Balance confirmation MIS, Trading Activities MIS, etc.
Month end/ Qtrly/Yearly activities
Monthly accounts closing works like ALSIT Adjustment, Provision for Inward Freight (Trade), Adjustment of COGS on Trade Activities, Transfer of GST TDS debit to various plants. Sending various MIS reports as per scheduled dates. Preparing Audit schedules on quarterly basis.
Back up &
Active participation in New Ekayaan project.
Collection recording (as & when required) in system post due verification with bank statement & post confirmation from Marketing Team as per SOP.
Educate colleagues on routine / monthly activities and being a backup for related team members. Providing data for Monthly meetings with Sales team.
Support existing IT initiative for branches and involvement of team in the existing IT requirement of all branches and roll out.
Active participation in Ekayaan project by attending meeting and giving suggestions, provide data for various test purposes.
