Job Summary:
We at Ambuja Neotia are hiring for a Planning Engineer the incumbent will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Microsoft Project (MSP), Microsoft Office Suite, and civil engineering principles to support project execution and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines using Microsoft Project (MSP) and other project management tools.
- Schedule Management: Track project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, including status updates, performance metrics, and forecasting.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
- Resource Management: Optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, reports, and correspondence.
- Compliance: Ensure that all planning and scheduling activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MSP), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other planning tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing schedules, resources, and project documentation.
