Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Master in Social Science / BA LLB from any reputed university with at least 5 years of direct working experience in child protection sector.
• Detailed knowledge about child protection legislations including national and state guidelines
• Thorough understanding about child trafficking, child sexual abuse and child marriage issues
• Thorough understanding of the statutory and legal system of the government in dealing with child protection cases
• Earlier exposure of working with police, judiciary and juvenile justice system
• Clarity of understanding about the urban conglomeration of Kolkata district
• Earlier experience of working with hardcore urban communities and handling critical circumstances in dealing with child protection issues

• Ability to articulate, effectively communicate and negotiate are some of required skills that this position would demand.
• Willingness to learn, share and facilitate others to learn in the process
• Ready for outstation travel as the case may be with immediate notice and for rescue & repatriation of children
• Good writing and analytical skill along with ability to prepared PowerPoint presentations
• Detailed knowledge about digital platform and social media platform
• Language proficiency – Bengali, English and Hindi
