Need of an onsite Assistant Video Editor

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Video Editor at Blurla located in Kolkata. The Assistant Video Editor will be responsible for reviewing raw footage, editing video content, creating rough and final cuts, proofreading scripts and ensuring the final product is in line with the brand’s style. The Assistant Video Editor will work in video production, creative, and marketing department to ensure that the final product is aligned with the client’s vision and needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and PhotoShop
• Proven experience as an assistant video editor, or a similar role
• Great understanding of storytelling and narrative structure
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work well in a team
