Key Competencies & Responsibilities:
Design core AWS platform security architecture, including areas such as:

Network (VPC) – Subnet, segmentation strategies

IAM

Infrastructure-as-a-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Storage (S3 and EBS)

Compute (EC2, ECS)

Serverless (Lambda, EKS, Fargate)

Logging and Monitoring (Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch)

Organization – Account design

Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design

Automation – Environment and application automation using scripting

AWS Cost Management and Optimization

Pre-Sales (experience in Presales with hands on experience in supporting project RFP/ RFI / RFQ)

Design and develop enterprise Cloud Migration and Implementation strategies

Create and lead cloud journey roadmap for customers on hybrid and data center applications

Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures

Challenge the status quo through intellectual curiosity and natural inquisitiveness to look beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to the engineering initiatives to the stakeholders

Lead and provide technical leadership to architects, developers, engineers, and operators in geographically dispersed location

Technical leadership for our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), monitoring and sustainment teams

Identify recurring problems and build the tools and processes to prevent problems from recurring.

Build the tools and processes to help quickly triage issues and identify the component(s) that need to be fixed.

Support on-call response to critical operational issues; be able to work beyond normal hours and support implementation transition activities and hyper-care shifts as needed

Required Skills:
7+ years’ experience in a Cloud Architect role

7+ years’ experience in working with different Cloud platforms (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)

Experience in designing and planning AWS solutions for hybrid enterprise platforms

Hands-on experience with centralized logging and monitoring solutions for CloudTrail, Config, Lambda, ECS and EKS, WAF, Migration Hub, and SEIM.

Knowledge in designing, implementing, and managing DevSecOps capabilities in cloud offerings using CI/CD toolsets and automation

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks and the requirements underlying each, including ISO, SOX, PCI etc.

Knowledge on multi-cloud deployment architecture

Experience with other CSPs like Azure and GCP

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
