Job Title- Area Sales Manager
Location- Ahmedabad, India
This position is responsible for frontline sales activities for the assigned territories of Gujarat & Rajasthan for Mass Spectrometry Products.
.Achieve assigned sales targets
.Negotiating price quoted and finalizing the deal in consultation with regional manager.
.Converting enquiries into orders.
.PromotingnewMass Specapplications toexistingcustomers, increasing their current scopeofusage of the instruments and generation of new opportunities in same accounts.
.Explore markets like small moleculepharma, DMPK, CRO, Food, Biopharma, Clinical and Academia/Omicsfor MS opportunities.
.Meet sales productivity and win rate targets
.Keep up with market developments through formal / informal sources and keep superiors posted
.Develop and nurture healthy customer relations
.Updating of sales activity and progress of potential deals as per defined systems
.Provide necessary technical information for customs clearance.
.Provide support to Credit Collections team for recovery of payment, agency commission and EMD
.Work closely with marketing and SDMs to improve funnel health and win rate

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
.Graduate in Biotechnology, Bio chemistry, Analytical chemistry or lifeciences
.Post graduate in managementfrom a good B school
.Min 3 Yearsof experienceina B2B, commercial/Corporate sales for high value capital products.
.Knowledge of Tendering is a preferred requirement
.Exposure to sales of mass spectrometry or related instruments (GC,HPLC,GCMS, LCMS) is highly desirable experience in sales of high value capital equipment is essential
.Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation) and good command over the EnglishLanguage
.Proficiency in MS Office
.Experience and ability to build relationships, influence people good negotiation and interpersonal skills
.Demonstrated experienceof being a team player
