Position Details

We are seeking a skilled Data architect or Data Strategist with experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and strong skills in data architecture and designing data strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven strategies that support our clients’ ESG initiatives and improve their sustainability reporting. You will also play a key role in our proposal creation and solution efforts, showcasing our data capabilities to potential clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

Requirements (including experience, skills, and additional qualifications)

• Leads transformative Data Strategy and Data Architecture related proposals, overseeing the large and complex of data architecture projects for large enterprises.
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to plan, monitor, manage and/or support complex aspects of the data architecture process.
• Works with Architecture, technology project teams and business clients/leaders to translate ESG and sustainability related business requirements into data solutions, which will require some persuading, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders across the business – internal and external
• Understands business strategy, business requirements and can envision and implement advanced architecture to enable organizational strategies
• Conceptualizing architecture and solutions for better data management, ensuring data quality, security, transparency and compliance with ESG regulations and standards in mind.
• Designing business data strategy and roadmap for deploying scalable and efficient data architecture, focusing on data storage, processing, lineage, and management systems that support transformational ESG initiatives and reporting.
• Conceptualize solutions for integrating various data sources and platforms, enabling a unified view of the organization’s ESG data landscape.
• Stay up-to-date with ESG reporting trends, regulations, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of data strategies and reporting.

Skills And Attributes For SuccessTo qualify for the role you must have

• Preferably Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Deep understanding and Hands on experience with designing data strategies and roadmaps based on Azure or similar data platforms.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture role, preferably with a focus on business data needs.
• Experience in data architecture, data management, data platform implementation.
• Understanding of ESG principles, standards, and regulations, including CSRD reporting requirements.
• Experience with client workshops and designing proposals and pre-sales activities.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Demonstrated sustainability background
• Experience with ESG-specific data platforms or tools.
• Familiarity with industry-specific ESG metrics and benchmarks.
