Assuming a lead role in the creation of technical standards by identifying opportunities and driving the adoption process. Instituting and participating in architectural and software development governance processes as well as improving departmental policies and procedures. Attending, participating and/or presenting in industry and meetings, conferences and seminars as necessary. Communicating effectively with clients and all levels of management within and outside of development. Staying abreast of emerging technology and software development trends, assessing possible impact or opportunity upon current and future solutions.
