Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with smile.
• Assist guest with table reservation and assist guest while seating.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Ensure guests are serviced within specified time.
• good knowledge of food and beverages menu
• Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Answer any questions regarding Food and Beverages menu and assist with menu selections.
• anticipate any unexpected guest need and reacts promptly and tactfully.
• Always apply service techniques correctly at all times, and serve Food & Beverage items with enthusiasm.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Record transaction / orders in Point Of Sales systems at the time of order.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the waiting time and product availability.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
• Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment.
• Thank and give fond farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.

• Perform shift closing on the Point Of Sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
• Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas.
• Work with fellow staffs to ensure that the restaurant achieves its full potential.
• Conduct monthly inventory checks on all operating equipments and supplies.
• Take an active role in coaching and developing junior staff

Prerequisites:

Should have pleasing personality.

Excellent guest service skill.

Good knowledge of food and beverage service

Must have bar related knowledge

Good spoken english skill.

Education:

Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field.

Experience:

Must have at least 3-4 years of relevant experience

Salary:

Rs. 14000 – Rs. 15000 per month.
