The HR Executive will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes at Netaji Nursing Home, ensuring the effective utilization of manpower and alignment of HR strategies with the hospital’s overall business objectives. The role involves managing job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management. The HR Executive will work closely with the governing body and other stakeholders to foster a productive workplace, drive revenue growth, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources Leadership:
- Oversee and manage all HR practices and processes within the hospital.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hospital’s growth and business objectives.
- Lead and nurture the HR team, providing continuous guidance and leadership.
2. Recruitment and Talent Management:
- Manage the entire recruitment and selection process in coordination with relevant HODs and consultants.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of staff.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
3. Performance Management:
- Oversee and manage an annual performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure the development and provision of job descriptions for all hospital staff.
- Maintain and manage pay plans and benefits programs.
4. Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure hospital compliance with MOUs, statutory bodies, local government rules, and accreditation committees.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
5. Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Conduct close coordination meetings with various stakeholders, addressing grievances and implementing suggestions where possible.
- Lead Dr. Engagement programs and work with clinicians toward revenue growth and cost reduction.
6. Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure that all employees have undergone orientation and signed relevant documents.
7. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Conduct monthly management review meetings to assess progress as per the budget and hospital growth strategy.
- Work closely with the governing body to achieve short and long-term organizational plans.
- Report to management and provide decision support on HR matters.
8. Administration:
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the CEO/Director.
- Manage headcount/manning data sheets and the degrees verification process.
Candidate Profile:
Education:
- A degree in Human Resources, MHA, BHM, or equivalent certifications in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience:
- 0-4 years of experience in HR management, including administrative roles in hospitals with a capacity of 50+ beds and a staff of 50+.
Industry:
- Experience in a Medical College, District Hospital, Private Hospital, or Nursing Home is desirable.
Expertise:
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of getting things done.
- Team player with an ethical approach and a solid understanding of hospital operations, marketing, nursing, clinical practices, statutory requirements, and quality management.
- Experience in managing doctors and other critical stakeholders.
Competencies:
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and systems.
- Ability to architect HR strategies and align them with the hospital’s objectives.
- Competence in managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
