Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Manager in a 4 star property at Indismart Group located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of food service establishments, ensuring high-quality customer service, providing training to staff, and managing budgets.
The Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. *Overall Food and Beverage Operations:* Managing and overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including restaurants, room service, banquets, and bars to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
2. *Menu Planning and Development:* Creating and updating menus in line with current food trends, guest preferences, and budget constraints.
3. *Inventory Management:* Efficiently managing food and beverage inventory, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing wastage.
4. *Cost Control:* Monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.
5. *Staff Training and Development:* Training, mentoring, and supervising food and beverage staff to deliver excellent service and uphold brand standards.
6. *Vendor Management:* Developing and maintaining relationships with food and beverage suppliers to ensure high-quality products and pricing.
7. *Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations:* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food preparation and service areas.
8. *Customer Service:* Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing guest feedback, resolving complaints, and continuously improving service quality.
9. *Revenue Generation:* Developing strategies to increase food and beverage revenue through promotions, upselling, and effective marketing initiatives.
10. *Performance Analysis:* Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, costs, and guest satisfaction metrics to evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.
