Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Finance at IIHM located in Kolkata metropolitan area. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial statements. They will also be responsible for managing the accounting team and providing financial guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

???? Oversee the financial planning and analysis process for the organization

???? Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

???? Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

???? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve organizational goals

???? Monitor cash flow, manage investments, and provide financial advice to the management team

???? Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting

Requirements:

???? Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

???? Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting

???? Proficient in using financial management software and advanced Excel skills

???? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships

???? Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing team

???? Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Statements, Finance, and Budgeting
• Chartered Accountant
• Analytical Skills
• Experience in Financial Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus

Experience Minimum 8 years of experience

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are also desirable.
