About the Role: Wine Sales Executive
This is a long-term position in Retail & Modern Trade Sales, offering stability and an excellent opportunity in the fast-growing wine industry in India.

Candidate will get several opportunities to
learn about wines, create a professional network and become a recognised leading professional in the wine business with a leading importer and wine brands of the country.

The role is of a RETAIL Sales Executive OR Manager (depending on candidate’s experience) –
who will help company grow its brand presence by pitching and increasing product
penetration and sales across a designated universe list of clients in Bangalore and
surrounding other markets in Karnataka. This is a position with a long term growth track of
leadership opportunities, depending on the candidate’s work ethic and calibre.
The Candidate shall be required to pitch to the above mentioned sales channels, developing
relationships with our trade partners, focusing on ways to place our portfolio, drive sales and
helping deliver Gusto’s goal of bringing the best wines from the world to customers in India

The selected Candidate will work on following during the Role:

  • Following a Daily Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) for assigned universe of clubs, retail

shops and modern trade outlets- and pitching them with company’s products and offers with the goal of meeting weekly and monthly sales targets. The role is extremely target oriented.
Sending a Daily Status Report (DSR) on whatsapp and using our phone application to
sign-in to all the accounts on the PJP (permanent journey plan) which is also used for
counting attendance and 100% account coverage

  • Keeping track of company’s stock levels at each outlet every visit.
  • Keeping track of outstanding levels at each outlet and collecting the payment.
  • Learning about wine through company organized trainings and materials assigned.

Who can apply:

  • Must be self-motivated, driven and with good academic records. Depending on the candidate’s experience and commitment, salary will be negotiable. However, candidate will have to be a self-starter and is expected to grow with the company
  • Some familiarity or interest in wines.
  • Must be operating a bike/car in Bangalore and familiar with the roads. Candidates

without at least a bike will not be considered

  • At least 1+ years of experience in the liquor and wine industry, FMCG , Bevarage . The candidate should have worked in similar position in earlier roles
  • Should be well-spoken and conversant with Kannada and English.
  • Skill(s) required: MS-Excel and English Proficiency (Spoken) and English Proficiency

Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹18,000.00 per month
