Looking for creators/ director of stories across different genres. To actively engage with the creative team, writers, data analysts, and producers to work on concepts, research, and data, to create immersive and compelling fiction (single episode or serialised).
Job Description:
Ideation/ curation of content for the platform.
Collaborating with writers, review of scripts, doctoring of scripts.
Directing voice artists (in studio).
Collaborating with sound designers, production review.
Collaborating with social media team for promotional content and strategy.
Being the face of the brand for promotions – through live chats with writers, actors etc (conducting interviews, discussions).
Must have:
Proficiency in English and Bengali – both written and spoken.
Background in literature/liberal arts/ creative writing/ film making / content creation (digital, films, advertising, audio).
Storytelling: A strong understanding of story, theme, tone, structure, plot, and narrative arcs. A passion for storytelling and content is a must.
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Bengal’s literature, culture, history , artistic sensibilities.
Ability to review/ proof read – scripts/ copies in English and Bengali.
Understanding of popular content / entertainment trends in films, OTT, literature, digital media.
Education & Experience:
Any Graduate with 8-10 years of experience including 2-3 yrs of creative leadership experience, including managing a team of five or more – would be desirable. Creative level or above experience at a studio, network or production company. Or, Literary Agency.
