ResponsibilitiesSales and Revenue Generation :
- Achieve sales targets and objectives in the assigned territory through effective sales strategies and execution.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue.
- Manage and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with customers.
Channel Sales Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the assigned region.
- Ensure proper distribution and availability of products in the general trade channel.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment.
Market Analysis And Planning
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to capture market share and increase brand presence.
- Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams for continuous improvement.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide product knowledge and training to customers to enhance their selling capabilities.
Sales Reporting And Documentation
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and sales pipeline.
Promotional Activities
- Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to drive product sales and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective in-store promotions and merchandising.
- Monitor and report the effectiveness of promotional activities.
Compliance And Coordination
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations.
- Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG/F&B industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of channel sales and general trade practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
