ResponsibilitiesSales and Revenue Generation :

  • Achieve sales targets and objectives in the assigned territory through effective sales strategies and execution.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market reach and increase revenue.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with customers.

Channel Sales Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the assigned region.
  • Ensure proper distribution and availability of products in the general trade channel.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment.

Market Analysis And Planning

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to capture market share and increase brand presence.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams for continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Provide product knowledge and training to customers to enhance their selling capabilities.

Sales Reporting And Documentation

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information and sales pipeline.

Promotional Activities

  • Plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns to drive product sales and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement effective in-store promotions and merchandising.
  • Monitor and report the effectiveness of promotional activities.

Compliance And Coordination

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG/F&B industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of channel sales and general trade practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
