Role Introduction :

This role will include review of the client’s full set of financial statements and working papers with reference to the latest Singapore financial reporting standards as prepared by a team of accountants.

Responsibilities :

• To understand and advise on the applicability accounting principles based on the business of clients and transaction details submitted for preparation of financial statements.
• To determine the relevant disclosures as per latest Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and provide guidance on the same to staff and clients as and when required.
• To analyze and interpret the effect of new accounting standards on the presentation of financial statements as may apply to various businesses.
• To elucidate the impact and implementation of the new accounting standards on the financial statements of our clients that are engaged in various businesses.
• To evaluate and rectify the financial statements submitted by staff with regard to accounting standards and principles.
• To assess the performance of staff engaged in preparation of the full set of financial statements/consolidated financial statements with regard to accuracy and speed.
• To assist with any peripheral activities in connection with the above as may be required.

Requirements :

• CA/ACCA qualified with minimum 2 years relevant post qualification experience in the above functions.
• Must be well versed with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Must possess intermediate level MS Excel and MS Word skills or equivalent.
• Able to work under strict deadlines.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Working hours : IST 6.30a.m. to 3.30 pm
• Since this is a remote position candidates are expected to possess/have access to the following :

-Laptop/Computer

i5 or equivalent processor, 8 GB RAM, Windows 10 or equivalent OS with antivirus software.

-Internet

Speed of minimum 50 mbps or above.

-Power supply

Uninterrupted.
