Mommy and I is a Liberian start-up agribusiness that is involved in the production of quality and affordable white and parboiled rice targeting the people of Liberia and the neighboring countries Guinea and Sierra Leone.

Position Summary:

The Crop Production will be a central coordination point for the harvest and production of raw produce from the field to the rice plant. The candidate for this position will be responsible for crop quality, crop maintenance, pre-harvest audits, and providing pertinent information from the field. The individual in this position will have the responsibility of maintaining harvester and grower relations at the field level. Finally, the Crop Production Manager will have input in the forecasting process of raw supply responsibilities year over year.

Primary Duties

• Raw Supply Production & Forecasting
• Daily Supply Reporting

• Harvester Relations

• Grower Relations

• Quality, Food Safety, and Harvest Audits

• Seasonal Forecast Inputs

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-Business, Agronomy, Plant/Crop Science or Related Field (Preferred) but NOT required
• Minimum of 8 years of crop production and forecasting
• 5 years + of Harvest Management
• 3 years + of Quality and Harvest Audits
• 3 years of experience with organic crop production
• Knowledge of crop production budgeting
• Knowledge of experience in grower crop reviews
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
• Must be able to work in a fast pace multicultural Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹1.00 – ₹2.00 per year
