Job description of Head – PMS & Rewards

Education:

MBA/ PGDM in Human Resource Management

Experience:

10-15 years in HR domain in a similar role

Job Profile:

Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of the Total Rewards programs and Performance Management

Job description:

Strategic

  • Oversee and administer the employees’ monetary and non-monetary rewards and benefits
  • Assessing and understanding employee needs and designing targeted programs that will increase performance, organizational trust and satisfaction
  • Plan and budget for all activities within the annual budgets cycle ensuring that Performance Management and Total Rewards activities are implemented within the agreed budget

Functional

  • Define and ensure consistency in PMS policies and processes across functions and divisions
  • Setting the compensation strategy of senior management and set guidelines for other staff
  • Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations related to compensation and benefits program
  • Ensure regular benchmarking and market related pay research is undertaken when necessary to remain competitive and an employer of choice
  • Manage the organization’s annual performance process ensuring that contracting and assessments are done periodically
  • Lead the promotions cycle processes and provide analysis of the impact of the outcome to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics relating to rewards and performance management

People Development

  • Take overall responsibility for people development initiatives and building up in-house capabilities for the employees in the department
  • Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
