Responsibilities:

1. Make a sound decision on companies, industries, and stock for the purpose of making money for the corporation or individuals.

2. Track the performance of stocks and collect the data in the spread sheet so that it can be easily interpreted by clients and stockbrokers.

3. Research and track the financial position of any company or industry.

4. Evaluate current and historical data that helps in decision making.

5. Recommend individual investments options and collective investment options, which are mainly known as portfolios.

6. Study a company’s financial statements to determine its value.

7. Study economic and business trends.

8. Prepare written reports.

9. Meet the company officials to gain better insight into the company’s prospects and management.

10. Meet the investors to explain recommendations.
