Educational Requirements
- Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in any discipline
- 5 years plus experience as a Technical Writer
Technical Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English

- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Proven capabilities with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated ability in copy editing and developmental editing the work of others
- Demonstrated knowledge of software and tools for writing content, incorporating graphics, and publishing documents
- Experience with other publishing and graphics tools, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Researches and gathers the information required to document software products by participating in team meetings, interviewing subject matter experts, and reading and reviewing technical and user documentation
- Follows all technical publications and Sunquest procedures, standards, and style guides and work with writing peers to refine and improve
- Determines and shares documentation delivery timelines and tracks progress against product development schedule to ensure deliverables are met
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of documentation
- Identifies risks and develops risk mitigation plans to meet project timelines
- Provides project coordination for multiple concurrent projects
- Collaborates with members of other departments for the benefit of users of the documentation
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
