WHO ARE WE: Tata Steel Foundation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited and was instituted on August 16, 2016. Purpose of the role: Tata Steel Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineers to join our team as ‘Manager – Infrastructure’. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various infrastructure projects, under the purview of the Infrastructure vertical of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Independently manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Planning and Design: Prepare plan, estimate, drawings, design and execute proper implementation of civil projects as per organisational plan.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, and community representatives, to ensure seamless execution of projects and obtain necessary approvals.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Reporting, Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare regular technical, progress reports & documentation, Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or safety.
- Compliance, Safety and Sustainability: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, with a focus on safety norms, sustainability and environmental best practices.
- Community connect: Understand the community requirements and implement the Infrastructure vertical activities accordingly by co-creating feasible solutions and ensuring technology and innovation
Minimum Qualification :
Bachelor’s / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution (preference for candidates from Government-aided institutions), and in managing infrastructure projects, preferably within development sector or corporate social responsibility sector.
Work Experience : Minimum 3+ years

- Adept in MS-Office, MS-Project, SAP
- Coordinating with diverse stakeholders and managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi & Odia)
