Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Management:
Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
Support the preparation and filing of statutory returns, forms, and other documents with regulatory authorities.
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and advise the compliance team accordingly.
Maintain and update statutory registers and records.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Prepare and maintain minutes of board meetings, general meetings, and committee meetings.
Draft resolutions, agreements, and other corporate documents.
Organize and maintain the company’s legal and compliance documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Reporting and Communication:
Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for management.
Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
Respond to routine correspondence and queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
Corporate Governance:
Support the implementation of best practices in corporate governance.
Assist in the development and review of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely dissemination of relevant compliance and regulatory updates to concerned departments.
Support to Company Secretary:
Provide administrative support to the Company Secretary in managing board and committee meetings.
Help in coordinating and organizing annual general meetings and other shareholder meetings.
Assist in maintaining the company’s compliance calendar and ensuring timely compliance with all corporate governance requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
3-6 years of experience in secretarial compliance or a similar role.
Knowledge of corporate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience with statutory filings and record-keeping.
Familiarity with corporate governance principles and best practices.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as Company Secretary (CS) or related qualifications.
Experience working in a corporate legal or compliance environment.
Knowledge of compliance management software.
