TEACHER – St. Teresa of Calcutta School

We are looking to hire a temporary 1.0 FTE teacher at St. Teresa of Calcutta School in Lethbridge. This assignment is to commence August 30, 2023 and terminate April 15, 2024. The successful candidate will be team teaching in a collaborative multiage grade 5/6 classroom. An understanding of ‘Leader in Me’ schools and knowledge of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People would be an asset. This position is covered by the ATA collective agreement.

We are looking for a dynamic educator who believes in supporting positive behaviors through effective classroom management, has a strong sense of inclusion, and is willing to build strong connections with parents, fellow colleagues and students.

Qualifications

Certified to teach in the province of Alberta;

Completion of ‘Brain Story Certification’ through Alberta Family Wellness Institute https://www.albertafamilywellness.org/training, prior to the end of the contract.
