The position is with a client a developer and manfacturer of wide range of electrosurgical unit for various surgical specialities

Position – Territory Sales In charge
Product – Electrosurgical Units

Location – Pune

Requirement – 1
Main Purpose of this job is to generate Sales through everyday customer interactions, being present in the operation theater to discuss the clinical use of our products, achieve secondary sales targets month on month, Conduct Market Development activities with the help of Marketing dept as planned, collect Competitive information and send timely weekly reports, focus product trackers and Expense statements
Job Profile
The successful candidate will perform the following role:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving secondary sales targets month on month ( How- be present in OTs atleast 4 times a week, 4 quality sales calls every day, Key account management, key account profiles for top 5 accounts in the respective territory )
  • Achieving Focus product targets – both quantity and value – month on month ( How – OT presence- 4times a week, minimum of 4 sales calls per day, collecting data on competitive product usage and types of surgeries performed, product demonstrations, proactive product evaluations )
  • Achieving 100% marketing activities planned for their regions every quarter.
  • Timely reporting of weekly reports and trackers for focus products.
  • Primary sales responsibility
  • Managing direct reports by spending time with them on the field and leading by example. Be seen as a coach and mentor

Qualification & Skills
Science or Engineering Graduate . Additional education in business management/marketing will be an added advantage

  • Clinical selling aptitude desirable
  • Excellent Communication skills with good hold over the English knowledge
  • 2+ years prior work experience in sales – Electrosurgical unit/Medical Devices or surgical products used in OT experience Preferred
  • Preferrred Having Sales experience of Medical Devices /Surgical Products
  • Having excellent relations with OT surgeons
  • Some experience of Handling Key Opinion Leaders desirable

  • Drive for results – passion to excel in the group. Proactive working is necessary
  • Technical competency
  • Selling Skills – Basic skills like opening a sales call, probing, closing a call, asking for commitment. Prior training in soft skills will be an added advantage.
  • Working with team members and promoting team spirit and togetherness
  • Positive Attitude towards everything. Seeing challenges as opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills – good command over English
