Job Position: OLTP BI Expert

Experience: – 3+ to 8+ Years

Must Have: – OLTP DB Design, Oracle/ PostgreSQL/ SQL Server, PL/SQL, Power BI, Any Cloud.

Responsibilities:

 OLTP Database Design:

• Design and implement OLTP databases that ensure data integrity, security, and high availability.
• Develop efficient database schemas and optimize data structures for transaction-heavy applications.

 Business Intelligence Development:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions using Power BI.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights from OLTP data.

 SQL Development and Optimization:

• Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from OLTP databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and query execution plans to ensure efficient data retrieval.

 Cloud Integration:

• Design and implement cloud-based OLTP and BI solutions using any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage database deployment and automate infrastructure processes.

 Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with data analysts, business users, and application developers to support data-driven projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues and BI reports.

 Documentation and Best Practices:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database designs, BI solutions, and best practices.
• Establish and promote standards for OLTP database design and business intelligence reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
