Looking for a resource to work on IBM Power System and Storage products. This job role provides a wide range of technical experiences, from hardware and operating systems troubleshooting for IBM clients mainly for Eastern region of India. It also offers a lot of troubleshooting, investigation and problem resolution. This encompasses several sub-roles including: machine configuration, operation, maintenance, error handling and investigation, troubleshooting, defect reporting, operating system knowledge, and performance tuning.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a IBM Power & Storage support engineer, you will be responsible for:
Identifying system issues, working along with Remote technical Support and resolve the issue at earliest.
Replacing parts in a system to make the system up.
Install and configure new systems and also provide IMAC services. Preparing Installation documentation.
Firmware and Operating system Patch update.
Operating System configuration and troubleshooting.
Data collection and analysis for performance tuning.
Efficiently managing relevant tools and Apps.
Grooming team members to make a high performance team.
We need someone with the drive to find system and configuration issues until the issue has been resolved and in turn increases CSAT index.  
Should be flexible to support customers during any shift of 24×7 support. A team player is a foremost requirement.
