Job Description: General Manager / Sr. General Manager – IT
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Transformation:Digitalize retail business for better end to end management and incorporate changes as per management requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies governing lending practices.
- New Ventures:Developing and managing platforms for existing online building material start ups and for new upcoming startups.
- Infrastructure Management:Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our technology infrastructure, employing best-in-class practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with departments to identify and prioritize technology needs, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
- Vendor Management and Budgeting:Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders, optimizing costs and maximizing value.
- Develop and oversee the technology budget, implementing cost optimization strategies while ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Technology Leadership:Develop and implement the company’s overarching technology strategy, aligning it with long-term goals and industry best practices.
- Lead and mentor the technology team, driving excellence in performance, innovation, and professional development.
- Stakeholder Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, investors, and regulators, fostering trust and transparency.
- Strategic / Thought Leadership:Provide leadership and guidance on emerging technologies, such as AI, cloud computing, and data analytics, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Spearhead the development and execution of strategic plans for the lending business, encompassing product strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new products and services, fostering innovation and growth.
- Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in data management, analytics, and technology leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and team leadership.
