Job Position: PL-SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to support business applications and reporting needs.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
• Data Modeling: Work with data architects to design and implement data models that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code and database performance, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database objects, code, and processes to ensure clarity and facilitate future maintenance.
• Testing: Develop and execute test cases to ensure the accuracy and functionality of database code and systems.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to database standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of developed database solutions.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Database.
• Experience with Oracle development tools (e.g., SQL*Plus, Oracle SQL Developer).
• Knowledge of database design principles and normalization.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
