WWF-India is one of the largest organisations engaged in wildlife and nature conservation over the past 50 years. We are inviting applications from interested candidates for the position of Field Biologist for our West Bengal State Office.

Location: Kolkata

Job Profile:

• Collection of field data and analyses;
• Requisite liasoning with concerned stakeholders,
• Conducting campaign and capacity building programs;
• Preparation of technical report.
• Handle work in other areas of Terai in North Bengal and coordinate with the WBSO on a regular basis.
• Any other designated work related to the project.

Requirements

Desired qualifications and Experience:

• Candidates with prior research experience (minimum 1 year) in ecology/wildlife/zoology will be preferable
• Prior field-based research experience on leopard.
• Proven ability to write scientific reports.
